About the job 

What are we looking for?

We are seeking an AI Security Engineer to ensure that AI agents, use cases, platforms, and integrations are developed securely and in compliance with corporate security standards. This role involves both strategic and operational responsibilities, working directly with AI teams, Security, the CISO, Data Protection, and international technology leaders.

Requirements:

• Minimum experience: 7+ years of experience in IT and Cyber ​​Security
• Solid experience in Cyber ​​Security
• Cloud Security
• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Application Security
• Secure SDLC
• Threat Modeling
• Risk Assessment
• Security Architecture
• Knowledge of security applied to Generative AI and Agentic AI
• Knowledge of frameworks: OWASP LLM Top 10; MITRE ATLAS; NIST AI RMF
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Valued certifications: CISSP; CISM; Equivalent Cyber ​​Security certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Implement “Security by Design” in AI solutions
• Mitigate risks related to Prompt Injection, Data Leakage, and Excessive Permissions
• Define security controls for AI agents and platforms
• Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling
• Support audits and security reviews
• Implement monitoring, logging, and detection mechanisms
• Define incident response playbooks for AI-related incidents
• Work with external AI vendors and platforms to ensure compliance and security
• Promote reusable security standards to accelerate the secure adoption of AI.

Working Model:

• Hybrid – 1 to 2 days/week at the client’s location, in a region near Lisbon.
