What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join an innovative and fast-paced environment where technology and data play a key role in driving business success.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of modern data-driven solutions.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar technical roles.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience developing applications and/or working in production environments.
• Solid experience with programming, debugging, and problem-solving.
• Hands-on experience with Python for data processing and manipulation.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases.
• Experience deploying solutions and models into production environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Fluent English and Portuguese (mandatory).

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and data pipelines.
• Build and optimize data processing and transformation workflows.
• Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of developed solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, databases, and data models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data and analytics initiatives.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of cloud-based solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Working Model:

• Lisbon – Hybrid (1 to 2 days/week at the client’s location).
