What are we looking for?

We are looking for a data-driven governance specialist to join an innovative team focused on Microsoft Copilot!

If you have strong experience in data protection, deep knowledge of Microsoft Purview, and enjoy working in collaborative, compliance-driven environments, this opportunity is for you. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring data is used securely, structured effectively, and aligned with governance best practices.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in Data Governance
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Purview and Sensitivity Labels
• Hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
• Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Advanced Portuguese (spoken and written)
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft Purview, Information Protection, or DLP (preferred)
• Master’s degree in Data Protection, Information Governance, or IT Security (a plus)

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement information classification architectures aligned with Copilot
• Configure and optimize Sensitivity Labels to manage access and data usage
• Develop and maintain auto-labeling policies
• Define and manage DLP policies to protect sensitive data
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness using Purview Audit Logs and eDiscovery
• Collaborate closely with Security, Compliance, Legal, and Business teams
• Ensure Copilot only processes properly classified and authorized data.

Working Model:

• Hybrid – 1 to 2 days/week at the client’s location, in a region near Lisbon.
