What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced IT Architect specializing in Active Directory and Identity Security to drive strategic initiatives across international environments.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence architectural decisions, strengthen identity governance, and collaborate with global teams to enhance security, automation, and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID architecture within enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
• Expertise in Identity Security Architecture
• Experience designing RBAC, Least Privilege, Tier Models, and Privileged Access concepts
• Strong understanding of Hybrid Identity environments
• Experience integrating AD/Entra ID with IAM platforms and processes
• Knowledge of Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) and SCIM provisioning
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell and process automation
• Understanding of Hybrid Authentication and Exchange-related architecture
• Experience working within large-scale, multinational enterprise environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English and German language skills (minimum B2 level)

Responsibilities:

• Design, define, and evolve Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID architectures
• Establish and promote identity security standards and best practices
• Define access models, privileged administration concepts, and security controls
• Integrate identity platforms with IAM processes and governance frameworks
• Automate identity lifecycle and access management workflows
• Support implementation teams during complex migrations, transformations, and critical changes
• Collaborate with IAM, Security, and Infrastructure teams across multiple countries
• Lead architecture decisions related to identity, authentication, and access management
• Ensure proper governance, documentation, and compliance of identity solutions
• Serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor for identity-related initiatives.

Working Model:

• Hybrid – 1 to 2 days/week at the client’s location, in a region near Lisbon.
